Luteal phase length is the number of days from ovulation to your next period, usually 11 to 17 days, and is the most stable part of the cycle.
Because it is relatively fixed, ovulation is estimated by counting back about 14 days from the next period.
A luteal phase consistently under about 10 days is worth discussing with a clinician.
