Seed cycling

Seed cycling is the practice of eating specific seeds in each half of the cycle — flax and pumpkin in the follicular phase, sunflower and sesame in the luteal phase — to support hormones.

The idea is that the nutrients in these seeds support estrogen in the first half and progesterone in the second.

Evidence is limited, but the seeds are nutritious and easy to add, so many people use it as a gentle habit.
